HOW TO GET MARRIED IN THE US VIRGIN ISLANDSGetting Married in Paradise is easy! Here are the requirements

As with getting married anywhere, there are a few things that need to be done in advance of your ceremony. 

• Complete an Application for Wedding License from the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands. This wedding application may be downloaded from the VI Superior Court, and mailed by US Priority mail. You may also call the VI Superior Court at 340-774-6680 and ask for family division. Note: If either party is divorced, he or she must mail a certified copy of the divorce decree along with the application.
• Please note there is an eight (8) day waiting period after the court receives a completed and authorized application. Please do the paperwork before your arrival and call the court at 340-774-6680 to confirm that all documents have been received.
• Fees include: $100 for the marriage application, and $100 for the license. Fees are paid by money order only (personal checks are not accepted).
• Most Secret Harbour wedding packages include the fee for a wedding celebrant. If, however the marriage is to be performed by a judge of the court, there is a $400.00 fee for the court ceremony. A court appointment is required.
• No passport is required for US Citizens to get married (or visit) in the US Virgin Islands so getting married is easy! Plan a destination wedding in paradise for ‘just the two of you’ or as many of your friends and family as you choose.
